Yellow... in all its shades

To me, Easter is yellow. It's the colour I always associate with Pascua or Semana Santa. It reminds me of the golden sun rays shining bright early on Easter Sunday, Resurrection Day. Or the sunny daffodils nodding their heads in the breeze and golden crocuses crouching in pots or dotting lawns. It's the fluffy canary-coloured chicks nestling up to coloured Easter eggs, or the creamy butter icing on the Easter cake. It's even the honey-coloured crosses on hoft cross buns, my favourite at this time of year, but which I will have to do without yet another year since you can't get them in Mexico.

So to keep in this mood, I decided to find photos of Mexico with a yellow tinge to them.

Your creativity amazes me! You manage to capture scenes that many people don't even SEE! I will be expecting a coffee table-type book forthcoming!! Keep being an inspiration!

Thanks, Lynda. I'm hoping to do a series on colours so watch out for more!
